1969 Hospital Strike 50th Anniversary March & Rally

In 1969, over 400 African American hospital workers, mostly women, went on strike for over 100 days to protest injustice and inequality. Their actions drew national attention to these issues and helped move our country forward. Please join us as we lend our support to this important commemoration. We will gather at the MUSC horseshoe at 11 AM, depart on the march at noon, and end at the rally in Cannon Memorial Park (131 Rutledge Ave) at 1 PM.
