We will be assisting Neighbors Together with their daily operations which include preparing foods, serving meals, distributing groceries and organizing clothing donations.
To sign-up, please RSVP via Mobilize and we will be in touch with additional details. You can volunteer on Monday, April 28th, Tuesday, April 29th or BOTH days! Each volunteer shift is for 3 hours from 9:30am-12:30pm.

Join Indivisible Charleston across the street from the Francis Marion Hotel to protest the presence of speakers RFK Jr. and Dr. Oz at the National Council of Insurance Legislator’s meeting. Neither are qualified for the positions they hold and both routinely spew harmful misinformation.
Note that since this event is in the City of Charleston and a permit has not been acquired, Indivisible Charleston organizers would like to keep this event to under 25 people. If you are interested in attending, please send an email to chsindivisible@gmail.com.
If you don’t like the City of Charleston’s First Amendment Ordinance (which requires us to get permits to hold gatherings and protests of 25 or more people), consider emailing a City Councilperson!

West Ashley Dems' April meeting will feature 2 amazing community leaders:
Reverend Christian King, the founder and Director of The Pink House, a resource and learning center serving the Ardmore, Sherwood Forest and Nottingham communities of West Ashley. Rev. King will provide an overview of The Pink House and share how WE can get involved.
Pastor Thomas Dixon, the newly elected Chair of the Charleston County Democratic Party. Pastor Dixon will share party updates including how CCDP is getting back into communities to explain the importance of voting.
As always, our meeting will seek to educate, entertain and end on time.
