Remember when a number crawled across the bottom of the local TV screen, the studio lights came on, the phones rang off the hook, and the whole community knew it was part of the same event?

Don’t touch that dial! We're bringing that feeling back with a get-out-the-vote “telethon” the night before early voting begins.

Join Pen Dems and Dr. Annie Andrews for a get-out-the-vote happy hour and telethon, with help in the phone banks from Southern Charm’s Whit Slagsvol.

This telethon will have a Pen Dems twist: our operators aren’t standing by. We're flipping the script and making the calls ourselves to remind our friends and neighbors to vote early beginning October 19.

Come meet Annie and help get Charleston ready to vote. Whether you make calls, post voting reminders, text your friends, help distribute yard signs (we have them!), or simply join the crowd, we need you there on Sunday Oct 18 to light up that board for our Democratic candidates!

Sunday, October 18 5:00–7:00 PM Park & Grove 730 Rutledge Avenue
