For our October meeting, we’re excited to welcome Charleston writer Margaret Seidler, author of Payne-ful Business: Charleston’s Journey to Truth. Margaret will share insights from her deeply personal journey to uncover and process her family’s genealogical past.
In addition, we’ll discuss the upcoming November municipal elections. While these elections are technically non-partisan, the political landscape in Charleston (and across the U.S.) is far from it. Part of our discussion will focus on ways to support District Ten Councilmember Stephen Bowden’s reelection campaign.
