We will be meeting at the Baxter-Patrick James Island Library on Monday, January 12th (NOT OUR USUAL DAY OF THE MONTH). Check in and social time at 6:00 and the meeting will start at 6:30.

Mac Deford (candidate for US Congress, District 1) and Karen Hollings (candidate for re-election Charleston Register of Deeds) will be there to discuss their 2026 campaigns. As always, any Democratic candidate is welcome to attend and discuss their plans with our group so we may see some other candidates, too.

The 2026 Democratic primary is only five months away so it is time to get busy choosing your candidates and helping them get elected!

We will also be discussing roles and looking for volunteers for the very fun and very important fund-raiser -- The JIFB Dems Oyster Roast at Bowen's Island.
