Joe Cunningham Announces Candidacy

Local attorney and ocean engineer Joe Cunningham has become the first Democrat to officially throw his hat in the ring to challenge Mark Sanford. He and his wife, Amanda, are co-owners of Soul Yoga + Wellness, a yoga studio located in West Ashley. Whether as an ocean engineer or attorney, Joe is devoted to solving problems.  His passion is people.  In pairing the two, his goal is to become our next Congressman to represent South Carolina’s 1st District.
