SC-01 Democratic Primary Debate!

The College Democrats at The Citadel welcome you to the SC-01 U.S. Congressional Democratic Primary Debate, where leading candidates will present their visions for South Carolina’s future and discuss the key issues facing the Lowcountry and the nation.

Doors will open at 6:30 PM, with local organizations and campaigns tabling before the event begins. The debate will start at 7:30 PM and conclude at 9:00 PM, and the venue will close at 10:00 PM.

Before the debate, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with campaigns and engage with a variety of local organizations from across the Lowcountry. During the debate, candidates will discuss and respond to the issues affecting everyday South Carolinians in a structured, moderated format.

Participating organizations include The College Democrats at The Citadel, the Young Democrats of South Carolina (YDSC), Lowcountry Young Democrats, CofC College Democrats, Charleston County Democrats, Dorchester County Democrats, Berkeley County Democrats, Peninsula Democrats, and additional community partners.
